During World War II, a number of the old retired two-man cars were pulled out of storage and given a hasty refurbishment in the company shops for continued service, chiefly on the McDaniel line.

During World War II, a number of the old retired two-man cars were pulled out of storage and given a hasty refurbishment in the company shops for continued service, chiefly on the McDaniel line. Car 384 is at Butler Barn after the war ended on May 10 1946.
