131 was a convertible car converted from a Pittsfield Electric Street Railway open car in 1915. Car was built by Wason in 1899. Photo was taken at former Pittsfield Electric carhouse on Wahconah St in Pittsfield. Other cars were converted to center aisle open cars. The car was little used after the Birneys were delivered in 1920.
