3021 is a 1941 model Pullman PCC at Reservoir Upper Yard. Originally single-unit cars, they were MUd in the 1960s to help out on the Riverside line which was experiencing crush loads due to the lack of equipment.

Originally single-unit cars, they were MUd in the 1960s to help out on the Riverside line which was experiencing crush loads due to the lack of equipment. The Tremont St - North Station via Egleston Line was terminated because of this and a short lived shuttle instituted from the Subway entrance to Park St.
