This Type 5 is at the end of the Fellsway line at Elm St crossover. This line used to go to Stoneham with cars operated by Eastern Mass StRy like car 4387 at the Seashore Trolley Museum. Boston Elevated used to go partway there to the Middlesex Fells reservation but it to was truncated to this point in 1946, remaining in service until 1957. This line came out of Sullivan Square El station. The type 5s used on this line were equiped with field shunts and ran faster than the other cars of its class.
