The CA&E bought some new cars in 1923 and their buffet cars couldnt mate with them so they took car 305 and rebuilt it as a parlorbuffet.
In 1929, about when these photos were taken, the parlorbuffet service was withdrawn and the car rebuilt back to a coach and renumbered 436. The photo was taken in downtown Aurora.
