A great view of the east end of the Wheaton yards, looking west. Left to right: the main line to Aurora, the old wooden dispatchers tower with the shops behind it, the Elgin branch going up a ramp, the new brick dispatchers tower and on down Liberty St, a bridge for the Elgin branch approaching the big bridge, out of sight to the right. This entire area is now occupied by high-rise apartment buildings and parking lots.
