411 at McDonald Ave and Ave W on the way out of the South Brooklyn Railway to East Troy on June 21 1973 This car along with four others, were originally built as Parlor-Observation trailers, complete with open rear end platform and railings. In 1942, wartime passenger loading forced the North Shore to remodel the cars. They had two motors and controls at both ends. The former open platform was enclosed, and the cars could train with the other system passenger rolling stock. This was prior to shipment via the C&O and SOO Line to East Troy
