Car 0148 was seen at Derby barns on May 2 1937. Connecticut Railway and Lighting took over the Derby Division on November 15 1936 and abandoned the streetcar lines March 13 1937. This car was probably used to take up the rails during the time that the interurban line to New Haven was still in operation. The car in the background is wrecker 0239, which was built in Waterbury in 1912 and then transferred to Derby around 1930-31: lettering SERVICE CAR was typical for wreckers.
