Work car 2006 in West Haven at the West Haven barn yard. Note the grungy cars behind 2006, West Haven was where they parked unserviceable and beat-up work cars, notably snow-fighting cars. 2006 was built in 1910 by Keith Car and Manufacturing as part of a 5-car order (2003-2007, originally 205-209) that was assigned to New Haven and stayed there for their whole service lives. Around 1935, 2004-2006 were made into salt cars, and they survived as such until the end. 2006 was saved by Branford, but BERA had to sell its trucks during the early-50s financial crunch, so the body survived as a shed at BERA until the 70s when it was demolished due to poor condition.
