During a 1968 visit to the Detroit area, R Hill sought out remnants of the former Motor City traction empire.
Along with the usual traces of street trackage, line poles, former carhouses and car bodies, there was also intact rolling stock.
There was also some sort of power plant operation utilizing several pieces of work equipment pictured here. The photos were taken during early October 1968.
