On the left is ex-Milwaukee Electric Railway &Light M-15, built by the TM in 1920. When the TM abandoned Hales Corners to Mukwonago service in 1939, this and differential dump D-13 were stranded.
The cars operated on the Mukwonago to East Troy segment after East Troy purchased the abandoned track. M-15 was converted to a dual purpose sort of vehicle by the addition of the roof platform
so the isolated railroad could maintain its overhead. Both M-15 and D-13 also saw duty as snow plows on the line.
M-15 later served with the Municipality of East Troy Railroad, and when pictured here on July 4 2001, it was mechanically operational, but is not operated because of structural problems.
On the right is the beautiful ex-Illinois Terminal center-entrance car 101. This car was built as Alton, Granite & St Louis 64 by the American Car Company in 1917.
