950 on the H line PRW between Vermont and Commonwealth on February 16 1947. 950 was the second rebuild of the funeral car Descanso. The first rebuild retained arch windows and stained glass. People refused to ride it, so it came out looking much more like a regular passenger car. When this car was built, it took the name Descanso (rest in peace, basically). When the Descanso became the 950, the other funeral car, the Paraiso (paradise), became the Descanso, the car that was at Summit and is now at Orange Empire.
