1415 on the 7 line at Kansas near 47th St and Vermont
Same trip, same story...this is the 9 line right-of-way, and I think the car is westbound. This trip may have been the day after abandonment of a number of lines, maybe May 23 1955.
LATL management was good to us, I have to admit. Car 1415 was chosen because it was the highest numbered of the H-4s.
The next group of H class cars, known as H-3s, were fully enclosed and had faux leather seats, along with the more modern faired in route indicator, which could be changed from the inside.
These cars had been modified for use on the very long 5 (E) line, LARys interurban.
