The barely visible box car will be moved towards the four tracks when the time comes. There was no intercourse between the two companies here, since the Wingfoot operation never had passenger service.
Certain of the Wingfoot switching duties were shared between the ATandSF and the PE.
It was either a one-year or a five-year rotation cycle between the two railroads I no longer remember. Even though PE called the building a station, it is really a depot.
According to the definitions in both SP and PE employee timetables, a station is a place identified in the timetable by name, and it has nothing to do with whether or not there was a building there.
