3002 on the 3 line and 950 at Gramercy PRW and 3rd St on February 16 1947. 3002 is in regular service and 950 is on a fantrip. 950 is a one of a kind car, the former funeral car Descanso. It was rebuilt into a passenger car in the late 1920s, and further rebuilt in the 1930s. It ran until about 1951 and was scrapped. For any who think my ID of this car as Descanso is incorrect, the car presently known as Descanso, now at Perris, was formerly the Paraiso. It became the Descanso when the first Descanso was rebuilt to car 950. Thus, the car at Perris, that long lived at Summit CA, is actually the second Descanso.
