An 800 series car on W Euclid one block south of Oklahoma Ave. Car could be westbound or eastbound. The car is headed for downtown if it is eastbound or S 9th Pl and W Morgan Ave if westbound. Photo was taken from the North Shore Line embankment above S 6th St. The streetcars on Rt 36 - S 6th St were replaced by buses in 1947.
