An 1100 is on the Hibernia St. "L" on the Rapid Transit Line. This one block "L" was Milwaukee's first and only "L". It was removed during scrapping operations in 1952. Today I-94 occupies this area. Low 1100s were known as Jeeps, and were primarily used in local Rapid Transit service to West Jct. All were retired in 1947
