In 1953, Minnesota Amusement Company, operator of the State Theatre in Minneapolis and the Riviera Theater in St. Paul had an idea for promotion of the new 3-D movie "Rodeo." They put stills in every window of a chartered car, along with banners on the side, and ran it all over the Twin Cities (or at least where there were still tracks.).
The car is shown here in front of the State Theater on Hennepin Ave and 8th St in downtown Minneapolis.
