Car 1207, one of 10 cars built by Canadian Car & Foundry between 1911 and 1912 at a cost of $7,000 per each complete unit.
The cars were very successful and used practically throughout the system. There was one exception — the Wellington St underpass under the CN tracks at Congregation St.
Lack of clearance meant they couldn't be used on the 58 Wellington route.
Cars in this class had a small notice in the vestibule for motormen that read: “This car does not pass through Wellington Tunnel.”
