Car 2666 is at Woodland and Wellington in Verdun, the west end of the 58 Wellington route. On its way downtown to Place d'Armes, the route featured a tunnel under the Lachine Canal. The tunnel had four bores, two on the outside for automobiles, and two on the inside for streetcars. The streetcar bores were closed with the end of service (they were deemed too narrow to convert to automobile use). A newly constructed bridge recently replaced the tunnel itself although the east portal is still visible.
