This would be from the last days of operation with the Victoria Bridge under reconstruction for the planned St Lawrence Seaway on June 2 1956. Included was the replacement of the rail line on the downstream side of the bridge with a roadway<br /><br > Operations were changed so that both the line to Marieville and the local operation into Longueil ended below the St Lambert railway station and a local train provided connection into Montreal over the bridge. The stairs in the background led from the temporary terminus up to the CN platform.
