With the encouragement of the Indiana Service Corporation, one of the two daily Cleveland-Lima trips was extended to Fort Wayne IN on July 17 1922.
The 222 mile through run was the longest at the time, but was short-lived and precise documentation is now difficult. The Lake Shore Electric Railway Story (Harwood, Korach) provide some details.
The routing lasted no more than 2 years. The Cleveland-Fort Wayne car traveled over the rails of seven companies, but took a couple hours longer in both directions than the steam roads.
