Marion, Bluffton & Eastern Goldthwaite Park wreck on July 7 1912
More on the accident from the Decatur Daily Democrat: "The collision occurred between regular car 305, coming to Marion from Bluffton due at 3:15 o'clock,
and a car operating between this Marion and Goldthwaite park, an amusement resort, situated about one-half mile east of the city, on a straight track at a point midway between the city and park"
Later from the Fort Wayne Weekly Sentinel: "It is the duty of all west-bound cars to enter and run through the siding or remain on the siding until the eastbound cars have passed.
The park car which collided with the regular interurban car should have stopped within the points of the siding until the regular car had entered the siding. Instead of the park car stopping "
