79 about half a mile south (timetable south that is!) of Drexelbrook, just inside of Springfield Twp, looking toward Media.
The bridge is over a tributary to Darby Creek, which flows some 50 yards behind this site from right to left. Scenic Rd Station can be discerned in the background, a stop which was not original to the Media Line as built.
As with some of the other shots in this area, SEPTA installed a second running track in the outbound position during the 1970's. Just a few yards this side of the signal standard on the inbound track stands the Scenic Rd Turnout, where the line reverts from single to double track as the car faces Media.
