80 at Darby Creek, looking southbound into Springfield Twp., and the present-day site of Drexeline Station.
The car appears to have run over several ballast stones, something I have been guilty of a few times!
The parking lot to the right belongs to the Springfield Swim Club, a seasonal private affair, and the house in the trees was my childhood home, built by my father, Richard J Patterson Jr. I have taken in this very view countless times with my own eyes as a boy.
