2158 on Rt 47 is northbound on 9th at Snyder in 1961.
Trackless overhead and switches have been installed for Rt 79, and the rail trackage on Snyder from 4th to Broad still remained intact. Rt 79, the next-to-last double-end car line, got trackless trolleys after five years as a bus line.
Rt 47 went bus in 1969 and was rerouted north on 7th Street and extended south to Whitman Plaza.
