This deluxe PSCT streetcar
paint job was re-created by Ted Eickmann at the Shore Line Trolley Museum
in Branford, CT. Car 2431 is the last complete & operable Public Service
car, nice exterior paint but LOTS of work still needed. It ended
its days as a single end car with high-back upholstered bus seats but was
obviously built as a double end car. Probably built after the Great
War (WW1), it was way obsolete when built. The North Jersey group
has a PSCT body (2651?) and has hopes of making a complete car out of it.
2431 has a deck roof, 2651 has the distinctive PS compromise roof.
