St. Louis Museum of Transportation
Kirkwood, MO
This car is the only survivor of a very unique order of PCC streetcars.  St. Louis Public Service #1664 was one of a hundred cars built by St. Louis in 1941.  They were the first production PCC's built with standee windows, and had other features that didn't show up again until more postwar-style cars were built in 1945.  SLPS #1664 was acquired by the Museum of Transportation in 1966; it is now stored there.
