Grip car and trailer in 1892.
The Washington and Georgetown Railroad ran from near the Aqueduct Bridge in Georgetown, over M Street and Pennsylvania Avenue through the downtown area and then south to the Navy Yard.
Park Rd is two miles north of this route. Capital Traction or its predecessor had a line on 14th Street with a carbarn well north of Park Road.
