A-Line (then Blue Line) car in the C-Line (then Green Line) yard. There are two unusual things in the photo.
First, is the TPO (transit police officer) and patrol car. This is actually me, and was taken in about 1996. We were merged into the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in 1997.
The second is that this is actually Blue Line trainset. The Green Line trains were delayed in arriving, so Blue Line trainsets were substituted for the first few years of operation.
