One of the 300 series (Perley Thomas, 1925) Miami Beach cars, taken at the FEC Buena Vista yards in Miami in March 1940.
The car was enroute to New York, where it was shipped to Puerto Alegre, Brazil. The photographer was William Monypeny.
There were 12 cars in the group (300-311) sold and they ran in Brazil for another 27 years being scrapped in 1967, double the time they operated in Miami Beach. The cars could be considered as "cousins" to the New Orleans cars still operating.
