26 was one of the last two survivors of the group of six cars inherited from Tidewater Traction when it went defunct in 1924.
They were built in 1913 by Perley A. Thomas and numbered 22-30, even numbers only. Photo taken February 21 1940 at the Third Ave carbarn.
