This website is not attempting to duplicate the history of the North Shore, which has been captured in dozens of books. I can highly recommend
First & Fastest magazine, a quarterly publication of the Shore Line Interurban Historical Society,
as an unsurpassed resource for not just the North Shore, but for all Chicago interurbans and electric railways, past and present.
