Ex-Charlotte Trolley 85 sits in the carbarn connected to its portable generator in June 2001. This is Southern Public Utilities 85 (homebuilt, 1927), but its current paint scheme is not authentic. The car has been fully restored and was operated on a variety of different route schemes through the middle of Charlotte NC from 2001-2015. Currently (Sep 2016) Charlotte 85 is at the North Carolina Transportation Museum.
