This married-pair subway car set is ex-Toronto Transportation Commission 5300-5301. Constructed of aluminum, they were built by Montreal Locomotive Works in 1962 for the Toronto subway. Seen here in July 2000, they are standard gauge and because of this they do not operate at their current home, the Toronto-gauge Halton County Radial Railway near Guelph ON. However, they are complete and have been shuttled back and forth on their short standard-gauge display track under their own power.
