Ex-DC Transit 1101, built by St Louis in 1937, the first PCC streetcar in Washington DC. A standard pre-war car, it is one of only a handful of air-electric PCCs still running, seen here on August 11 2002.
It has been restored to its (arguably garish) DC Transit color scheme by the National Capital Trolley Museum in Colesville MD.
