Ex-Los Angeles Railway 1559 is a type K streetcar built by LARy in 1925, seen here on August 7 2004. Cars of this type, though built out of wood, were designed to mimic the appearance of LARys then-new all-steel cars. 1559 operated until it was retired in 1955 it was then acquired by the Pacific Railroad Society and moved to OERM. PRS formally donated the car to OERM in 2000.
