Ex-Capital Transit 197, built by Jewett in 1910, is one of only two standard double-truck cars preserved from Washington DC. Formerly numbered 611, it was retired in 1938, and acquired in 1989, and seen here in August 2000. It has since been retarped and is in storage awaiting restoration.
