The oldest PCC in existence, and the first production PCC ever built, is Brooklyn & Queens Transit 1001, seen here on May 15 2004. Constructed by St Louis Car in 1936, it was in service until 1956 and is now at the Shore Line Trolley Museum in East Haven CT. At the time of this photo it was in the middle of a restoration and was in primer.
