Ex-New Orleans Public Service 850 was undergoing a major rebuilding at the Shore Line Trolley Museum in East Haven, Connecticut as shown on May 17 2004.  This steel car was built in 1923 by Perley Thomas and, as built, was virtually identical to the cars still in service on the St. Charles streetcar line in New Orleans. 850 is now in regular use at the museum.
