This gorgeous car, ex-Third Avenue Railway 220, is one of the oldest operating streetcars in an American museum, seen here on May 17 2004.
Built in 1892 by the Laclede Car Company of St Louis, it was originally a cable car and was only converted into an electric streetcar in 1900.
It later became a Third Avenue Railway slot scraper and was used in work service until acquired by Shore Line in 1948. It has been fully restored and is operational.
