This PCC car, shown on May 17 2004, was built in 1949 by St Louis Car as Twin Cities Rapid Transit (TCRT) 416. After only four years in Minnesota 416 was sold to Newark NJ and renumbered to Public Service 27.
It ran in Newark until 1978, when it was sold to the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority for service on the Shaker Heights line, and in 1990 returned to the Minnesota Transportation Museum in Minneapolis.
In 2001 it was sold again, this time to Shore Line.
