In Chesterton IN, just northwest of downtown, there is a commercial development that includes four ex-Chicago South Shore & South Bend interurban cars converted for retail use.
One is this car, CSS&SB 17, built in 1927 and later lengthened during a rebuilding, seen here on August 12 2002.
