This rusty hulk was once Columbus Delaware & Marion interurban parlor car 500, a Redbird car, seen here on August 9 2002. It was built by American Car & Foundry in 1926.
This type of car was arguably the epitome of the standard heavy interurban car. The hulk of 500 is now stored in poor condition on a farm near Buckeye Lake OH.
Its sister car, CD&M 501, is stored in not much better condition at the Ohio Railway Museum in Worthington OH.
