410, an ex-CO&P suburban car at Granite City in 1953.
The Chicago, Ottawa and Peoria , otherwise known as the Illinois Valley Division of the Illinois Traction Company (it was also known as the Chicago & Illinois Valley).
The intention was to link its southern end with Peoria and its northeastern end with Chicago, thus making a through Chicago-St Louis electric route, but alas such was never to be.
These small cars were shipped to Granite City, modernized, and placed in Granite City-St.Louis local service.
