Traction Modeling

Modeler: Chick Siebert
Scale: O
Description: Christian L "Chick" Siebert of Camp Hill, PA  models in O scale and builds models of various Pennsylvania traction systems, mostly Northwestern Pennsylvania in Meadville where he grew up, and Valley Railways in Camp Hill where he has lived most of his life. His mythical "Venango Traction Company" is what he usually letters cars that he builds for prototypes other than the two systems listed above such as Pittsburgh and Butler, Indiana Railroad etc.

Chick usually takes about a year to complete each model and each is exquisite down to the very last detail.  As an example, the Buffalo and Erie curved side car, while built from a Kidder body, which he rarely does, has hand built Cincinnati trucks complete with working leaf springs as truck equalizers.)
