Car 1655, is downtown-bound on the 70 Windsor line, running east on Sherbrooke through the Notre-Dame-de-Grace (popularly known as NDG) neighborhood passing Marcil Ave. Marcil Ave is named for Georges Marcil, the last mayor of the municipality of Notre-Dame-de-Grace before it was annexed to the City of Montreal in 1910. Service on Sherbrooke west of Girouard was begun by the Montreal Street Railway Company in August 13, 1908.
