A double-ended 2600 series car running as a 40 Montreal Nord is at its west terminal at City Limits Loop. It will reverse direction to head east again on the single track route to Pigeon Street in Montreal North. There was normally only one car on this route, which was a favourite for fan trips. The route was discontinued a week earlier than its scheduled May 3 1959 closure to allow the city to create a widened paved road on its right-of-way. The route was replaced by buses.
