Brooklyn & Queens Transit
This Coney Island-bound (southbound) McDonald Avenue PCC is approaching the West 5th Street depot, and is about to cross under the double deck elevated that runs between Ocean Parkway and Stillwell Avenue as part of the "D" and "F" lines.  The location is about 1000 feet south of the Brighton Laundry, on the private right of way (PRW) that began at Triton Avenue and West 6th Street (Shell Rd.).  This PRW at one time began at Avenue X/86th Street and the southern end of McDonald (formerly Gravesend) Avenue, where McDonald Avenue had its name changed to Shell Rd. The elevated to the left is the "F" line, still in use,  between the Van Sicklen Avenue station to the
north and the West 5th Street station to the south.
Note:  This location can be determined by the distintive roofline of the power station visible to the immediate right of the motorman.
