The Manhattan Bridge Three Cent Line began service with borrowed cars such as this one, as their new Perley Thomas double truckers had not yet been delivered. Shown is a Third Ave. RR , ex-cable car on the yet unfinished Flatbush Ave. Extension that connected Fulton St. in Brooklyn with the new Manhattan bridge.
